COVID-19 Vaccinations for Children

The COVID-19 vaccine is now recommended by the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics for ages 6 months and older. The COVID vaccine dose is based on your child's age.

We understand you may have questions before booking an appointment and we are here to help. Feel free to ask the Doctor at your child's next Well Exam or schedule a consultation to ask us questions directly. We welcome all questions and concerns you may have and hope to address them so you can make the best decision for your child. 

A FEW MORE THINGS TO CONSIDER: 

• We will immediately schedule the next dose before you leave our clinic that day. Kids ages 5 years and up are recommended to get a booster when it is time. 
• If your child is 5 years old and up and has a medical condition or takes medicine that weakens the immune system another dose may be recommended, be sure to bring this up to the doctor before making your appointment. 
• Keep the paper vaccination card you will receive! Don't laminate it as more information will likely need to be added at the following appointment. 
• We highly recommend talking with your child before the appointment to make the experience for them a positive and calm one.
